Over the years I’ve come to realize something, I’m better than every other person I’ve ever met. I’m smarter than them, more attractive than them, wittier than them, and just generally better in every way. Sure there might be some lucky soul out there who’s better than me, but I seriously doubt it. I mean, I’m Anthrax Tao. It doesn’t get any sweeter than that. No offense intended to the rest of you, I’m just stating a fact. So read my shit cuz its the most interesting, definitely more interesting than the crappy shit the rest of these whiney losers keep crapping of out their fingers and onto your eyeballs. Save your brain from word-shit, read me and you’ll never go wrong; try to be like me and you’ll become a better person. These are valuable life lessons.

There are two exclusive possibilities at this point:

1) stay with girl. have dependable relationship. have love when it cannot be found anywhere else. remain closed off to other possibilities.

2) break up with girl. enter uncertain world of greater possibilities. open myself up more to the school that I am attending.

i went back and forth on this for a long time, then finally settled into being comfortable in the relationship. however, the thought came up again yesterday while we were together. I haven’t been able to shake it.

is the fact that I am still going back and forth enough to make change happen?

I like the comfort that this relationship provides, but when I think about the future in any regard, I get scared about the possibility of still being in this position, not having let things change with time.

What is the taoist approach to this? I’ve been trying to decide.

THE NEXT DAY-

I think I have decided what the taoist approach is, and I agree with it. The answer is to practice not doing, to be patient, like eternity, and allow events to take their course. I must remember these things! I think it’s funny upon reflection that I continually go in and out of accordance with the Tao. I think I do it subconsciously, just so that I can be satisfied again and again by the wisdom of the Tao. It replenishes me, I forget about it or am distracted from it, then I use it to get myself out of depression and angst. It works every time.

At the risk of sounding like an anti-semite. Was Hitler really that bad of a guy?
We’ve all heard the stories about concentration camps and mass murders, which are attributed to Hitler’s hatred and bigotry, but could Hitler of been a victim of his envirornment? Shouldn’t we try to avoid demonizing Hitler and really take a look at all the factors that went into his decisions in context?
In “War and Peace”, Tolstoy reveals his theory of history and goes to great lengths to show that Napoleon had no greater of an influence over France’s Empire than anyone else in the entire movement. There were millions of people involved from the homefront to the battle field that seem to play a lesser role than the emperor, but who in Tolstoy’s opinion were just as important to the overall movement as Napoleon himself.
Obviously Napoleon’s role was more notable and well known than any of the other player’s, but he was only at the top because the movement needed him there. A million different circumstances went into his takeover, and Napoleon happened to be at the right time and place for all of them. In other words, he did not independently rise to power and propell the movement, but instead he rose to power because the movement required it of him. The same is true of eveyone else in the movement. They were only in the positions they occupied because they alone were best suited to fill that role. Napolean had the history and background to make him the perfect emperor for the time and place.
Could not the same thing be said about Hitler? There is no doubt that there was evil at the heart of the movement, but should Hitler really be made the scapegoat for what millions of people had a hand in?

Tookie was killed yesterday, for crimes he claimed he didn’t commit. He started the crips, and in jail he seeked redemption by founding an anti-gang activist group. Still, the country executed him, quite ritualistically.

Let’s all reflect, and realize that in our personal lives we all can spread love and forgiveness, even if the state refuses to. For them, the holiday is about buying and $elling. For us, it’s about LIVING.
