One part of me says we should try to be better than we are, but another part says we shouldn't. I also think our society is very hedonistic, certainly not to the point of socially acceptable rape, but we live to party and eat good food and drink and watch tv and sit on our asses. Our entire culture/society is geared towards making things more comfortable and convenient and luxurious, all at the expense of the environment and people in the third world. I think perhaps what we need are some morals I don’t think our current society is very moral, people really just look out for themselves.
