Despite being non-affiliated I think the way that spirituality has been traditionally found through organized religion may tell us something important. The way I see it a relationship with God is nothing more then an intense relationship with oneself, a relationship where you are constantly questioning everything you do compared to some sort of mental standard which you either have been taught or that you have developed by yourself(through encountering things in life which, I suppose, is a kind of teaching). This is the same thing as self analysis yet in religion it is put up to a higher being to determine how you are judged. The notion that something other then oneself could effectively and completely analyze and interpret me seems absurd so I then place the burden upon myself. I claim then that if God is the only one who a can truly know me then I myself am God(or at least part of it). The only problem is that I am not truly and utterly aware of myself, I still have many secrets that I am sure I hide from myself and so our problem begins again.

What is God then if I am not it? The best way to conceive of God (if there is one at all) is in connection. God is the fundamental connection between us all, so in praying to God we are praying to ourselves, the human race, and the entire universe. As of now however I do not belive the Will of God exists. The Will as I see it will only come once the universe has reached a critical point of connectivity such that the universe may start to shape itself in its own will. Then and only then will the God that we have been taught about begin to emerge and thrive.
