Bestiality in the Bible newsflash
In case you guys aren’t aware of some of the subtleties of the creation stories, I’m going to fill you in.
The first, better known, creation stroy is very straight forward and planned out. One day God creates day and night, another day he creates earth and sea and eventually he creates man and woman.
But in the second creation story, God gets experimental. He creates the land but then has to create Adam out of its dust because the land needed tiller. After man is created, God realizes that man will need a “helper”, a sexual helper that is. Like I said, God was feeling experimental and tests out Adam with all animals before finally creating Eve from a rib of Adam.
Sorry honey, aren’t sloppy seconds a bitch?

Sorry to sound all feminist and religious, but I find it just a little offensive labeling Eve as a “sexual helper” for Adam. I understand she was created for the sake of creation. But remember, it’s creation of humans which she can be attributed to. Think of it like this. God tried out different animals for Adam before chosing the perfect creature. It’s similar to any two humans who wind up finding each other after 30 years of their life and end up marrying. Sloppy seconds? Well, then every other person someone has been with before settling down can be considered an animal, a misfit. Thinking about it like that doesn’t make you too happy, does it? You’ll get someone’s sloppy seconds, just like someone will be yours.

There are many ways to interpret this section of the Bible. For instance, before Eve, Adam was uncivilized and animalistic, and then Eve brought him up and made him better. And by the way helper is the actual literal translation in the bible. The comment about sloppy-seconds was a lighthearted poke at the Bible and was not to be taken literally.
