we program ourselves into our children. each generation is just creating new vessels for, and versions of, themselves. and the more creative* we are the more people there are. and the more destructive we are the less people there are. this is the way of things

why do we ever have kids, if not for the sake of passing on who we are? However, what do you mean by destructive? Not creating children? You can say that the more creating there is, the more people there are. However, even if there are more people, we are still just “vessels” for our parents to fill, so are we really people, in the sense that, are we not individualized

this question really depends on your definition of what a person is. with each new generation the parents live on in their children but the combination of both parents plus a myriad of other factors results in a unique individual
