hehe, well said.
I completely agree. Life should never be reduced to two paths, but that wasn't what I was trying to say and you know it, MS SKEPTIC. The point that I was trying to make is that people generally feel either positive or negative about things, and the general conditions of human consciousness come from imprints, made during early developmental stages. For example, during what I called the bio-survival stage, which is the first imprint any human being makes, one either registers positively or negatively, depending on the conditions of that stage. So, let's say, if you were a very sick baby, or if you were born severely premature, your biosurvival imprint will not be as strong as if you were a healthy baby. That shit continues to play a role in your everyday outlook.

You can't realistically reduce it to either "Sweet!" or "Fuck!", but, as the saying goes, "The menu is not the meal".

It's just something to think about. And I'm glad you're thinking about it.

Maybe it doesn't have to be "sweet" vs. "fuck". What about just living and not thinking about every fucking detail in your life or why exact things happen. That seems to be a beyond boring life. There are no two paths to be had in life. No two choices. Our lives are full of different decisions, different choices to be made, different roles to take on. How can you minimize the greatness of life (wow, I do kinda sound like you now) just into two paths? I think that's a little IGNORANT of you.
